A more creative project we have been working on is creating identification tags and informational signage to be used for the plant tour and to integrate into classroom activities. The goal is to make signs and labels that can be made and swapped out easily so the plant tour can be changed regularly to make it more engaging.
So far, we've made prototypes with a "Cricut" tool, a Glowforge laser etcher, and 3D printers we have on campus.
Currently, we are working on designing 3D printed holders for etched aluminum Plant ID signs.

Another version on the bottom right shows a protype of in which a solid color acrylic is laser etched and then flooded with paint to creat a high contrast lettering.
